About Me

Paul Moore
My name is Paul Moore. I was born in Whittier, California where I have lived most of my life. I am a graduate of Whittier High School and Whittier College (BA and Masters of Education). I have a wife and two children and one grandson. I was a teacher for over 40 years 39 of which was in the Whittier City School District. I took a very early retirement in 2008. Now I pursue my interests full time in travel and family history. I am on the board of directors of the Credit Union of Southern California. I am also docent at Hsi Lai Buddhist Temple and the Whittier History Museum. I am member of the Sons of the American Revolution and the Orange County Civil War Round Table.
